SC grants bail to Manish Sisodia in both ED and CBI cases: Manish Sisodia has got a big relief. The Supreme Court has granted him bail on Friday. Manish Sisodia will come out after about one and a half years. While granting bail to Sisodia, the court said that the time has come for the lower courts and high courts to understand the principle that bail is the rule and jail is the exception.
Sisodia’s bail is a victory of truth: Sanjay Singh
After Manish Sisodia got bail from the Supreme Court, the Rajya Sabha MP said that this is the victory of truth, the court’s decision is a slap on dictatorship. The Supreme Court has also laid down some important conditions while giving the verdict. The court said that Manish Sisodia will have to submit his passport.
AAP MP Sanjay Singh said that 17 months of Sisodia’s life were wasted in jail. He could have used this time to do a lot of good. He said that Sisodia was put in jail as a part of political vendetta; this strengthened our party further.

Giving a better future to children is Sisodia’s crime: Raghav Chadha
AAP Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chaddha said that Sisodia was kept in jail for 530 days; his crime was that he gave a better future to the children. The Aam Aadmi Party has welcomed the decision to grant bail to Sisodia and thanked the Supreme Court.
Sisodia was arrested in February 2023
The CBI arrested Sisodia under the Prevention of Corruption Act on February 26, 2023 last year, while the ED arrested him under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act on March 9 the same year. After the Delhi High Court rejected his bail plea in May, the AAP leader moved the Supreme Court. On October 10, the Supreme Court rejected his application even as the ED expressed doubts over some of the allegations levelled against him.
