BJP attacks Congress over Mani Shankar Aiyar Viral Video:A huge political controversy has started over the alleged statement given by Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar in a video that suddenly went viral during the Lok Sabha elections. In this viral video, Mani Shankar Aiyar can be heard advocating talks with Pakistan. In the video, Iyer is saying that “It is also a sovereign country and they also have respect, maintaining which you can talk to them as harshly as you want, but at least talk.” In the same video, Iyer can also be heard saying that Pakistan has atom bomb and only through talks can it be kept away from using the bomb. Otherwise, if some madman comes there and uses a bomb, there will be a problem. He can also be heard arguing that India also has the atom bomb, but if the bomb is exploded in Lahore, its effect will reach Amritsar in India within 8 seconds. Targeting this alleged video of Iyer, BJP has accused Congress of speaking the language of Pakistan and terrorists.
Iyer should undergo mental treatment: BJP
BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh, who is contesting elections from Begusarai in Bihar, targeted Mani Shankar Aiyar’s alleged video and said that Rahul Gandhi, Congress and Mani Shankar Aiyar are speaking the language of Pakistan. BJP MP and party candidate from Gorakhpur Ravi Kishan said, “Manishankar Aiyar should get his mental treatment done somewhere. This is no longer the India of Congress. Iyer’s statement is Congress’s official line: BJP
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawala, while sharing Mani Shankar Aiyar’s video, has said that Congress’s love for Pakistan is not stopping. Poonawala alleges that whatever Aiyar has said is the official line of the Congress. Shahzad alleged that Congress’s love for Pakistan is crossing all limits.
