Mandatory coronavirus vaccination introduced in Tajikistan

The Tajik authorities have announced compulsory vaccination for citizens over 18 years of age.

The decision was made by the Republican headquarters to prevent the spread of a new type of coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

Vaccination of the adult population is free of charge.

Citizens who are not vaccinated should seek medical attention from a family doctor or local health facility.

The campaign to vaccinate the population has been going on in the republic since March 22.

Until today, 280 thousand inhabitants of the republic have been vaccinated.

As of the morning of July 4, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the country is 13,569. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 92 people have become victims of COVID-19.

13 346 people have been cured of the dangerous virus. Due to the coronavirus, 92 people have died so far.
