Maharashtra: Due to non-payment of ransom, miscreants set fire to petrol, died during treatment.
A dreadful incident has come to light in Palghar, Maharashtra. Naval officer Kidnapped from Chennai by miscreants and burnt him alive in Palghar. A badly burnt officer has died during treatment in the hospital.
Golvad police have registered a case against 3 unknown accused and are looking for them. The deceased naval officer’s name is Suraj Kumar Dubey (age 26 years). He was a resident of Ranchi.
According to information received from Palghar Police SP Dattatraya Shinde, Suraj Kumar was abducted by the miscreant in a car near the Chennai airport at the point of revolver. Sooraj was held hostage at an undisclosed location for three days.
The miscreants had demanded a ransom of 10 lakh from the naval officer, but when they did not get the money, they took Suraj Kumar into the forest of Waveji area of Talasari. Where they sprayed petrol and set them on fire. In which Suraj Kumar got badly burnt. When a local resident stared at him, he immediately informed the Golwad police about it.
The police who reached the spot got Suraj Kumar admitted to the sub-district hospital of Dahanu. After Suraj’s condition deteriorated, doctors referred him to Mumbai. Where Suraj Kumar died on Saturday during treatment. Suraj Kumar joined the Indian Navy in 2019 as a Sibing Seaman.
