Sharing with reporters, “hot mom” Vu Dieu Thuy said: “As a personal branding training expert, my pressure is to always have a good figure and a pretty face. So when facing risks ‘out of shape’ like tens of thousands of other women, I have to have a plan to ‘get in shape’ immediately. Recently, after gaining dozens of kilograms and surpassing 70 in my waist, I have focused on exercising. The result is that after 55 days, we successfully reached the finish line, exactly according to our maiden indicators.”
After giving birth twice with three children, the beauty’s waist became wrinkled, dark, and unsightly. Combined with the stress at work and accidentally “gossiping” in front of delicious food, Vu Dieu Thuy has gained approximately 65 kg, causing her waist circumference to change from “one pack” to “two packs” every time she wears clothes. Instead of adjusting the size of her outfit and looking for things to hide her figure, she made a workout plan. Due to limited time (both taking care of her children and running her own businesses), she was forced to choose simple (but highly effective) exercises combined with scientific eating.
I’ve tried many sports with no results: running gets boring easily, going to the gym makes it easy to give up (due to busyness, weather factors, travel distance…). In the end, she decided to choose jumping rope. According to her, this is a simple sport that can be practiced anywhere – suitable for people who have uncertain time or have to travel far for work. The exercise equipment is extremely compact and lightweight, convenient to carry anywhere. In addition, she researched that jumping rope burns a lot of calories. The more she dances, the more fascinated she becomes because this is essentially an artistic gymnastics, every day there will be new technical movements to conquer. That keeps the practitioner from getting bored.
“Talking is one thing and doing is another. Anyone who has ever lost weight or exercised understands this all too well. Many times I even think I can’t do it because I’m too busy. Teaching and speaking all day is tiring. Then at night, I livestream with the community – by midnight I’m hungry, tired, and have no motivation to lose weight or stay in shape. Not to mention, my job is mainly communication, so I stumble a lot temptation in eating and drinking – through receptions, parties, and course summaries with students,” Thuy continued.
