In 2024, Reuters news agency provided about 1.6 million photos of the most prominent events in the world. Over the past year, about half of the world’s population participated in elections. Natural disasters such as floods, forest fires and earthquakes also occur in many places. Conflicts, protests and price crises continue to escalate.
On the contrary, there are also moments when people share joy together, from victories in elections, sports competitions to admiring rare astronomical phenomena.
