Lok Sabha Election 2024 Phase 2 Voting Live Updates: In the second phase of Lok Sabha elections, voting is going on on 88 seats in 13 states from 7 am on Friday. In the second phase, apart from all the 20 seats of Kerala, 14 out of 28 seats of Karnataka, 13 seats of Rajasthan, eight seats each of Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, 6 seats of Madhya Pradesh, five seats each of Assam and Bihar, Chhattisgarh and Voting is going on for three seats each in West Bengal and one seat each in Manipur, Tripura and Jammu and Kashmir. Voters, including prominent politicians, celebrities and businessmen, lined up outside polling stations early in the morning to cast their votes in the world’s largest democratic process. The highest voting figures were recorded in many seats of Karnataka, especially South Kannada (Dakshina Kannada) and Udupi Chikmagalur. According to Election Commission data till 11 am, the highest turnout was recorded on one seat in Tripura, where more than 36 per cent of eligible voters cast their votes, while eight seats in Maharashtra had the lowest turnout of 18.83%. By the end of the day today, voting will be completed on one-third of the total 543 Lok Sabha seats. Apart from Kerala, all the seats of Rajasthan, Manipur and Tripura and 14 out of 28 seats of Karnataka are included. Other seats include 8 each in UP and Maharashtra, 7 in MP, 5 each in Assam and Bihar, 3 in West Bengal and Chhattisgarh and 1 in Jammu and Kashmir.
