Starting January 9th, Summoner’s Rift will immerse itself in the dark and powerful atmosphere of Noxus. This new themed season, the first for League of Legends, will introduce major gameplay updates, a new champion, themed graphical content and much more. The influence of Noxus will be felt in every aspect of the game: new structures, music and a new objective, Atakhan, the bringer of doom, will appear in the twentieth minute of the game, modifying the terrain and granting a permanent buff to the team that defeats him . Additionally, new runes, items and Teleport changes will be introduced, along with a new system called Feats of Strength, which will allow you to obtain more powerful boots.
Mel Medarda, already known to Arcane players, will join the lineup of playable champions with a new Noxus-inspired look. Her unique ability allows her to reflect projectiles, adding a new dimension to the gameplay. Season One will be packed with narrative content, such as the Pits of Judgment of Noxus, which will be introduced through Arena Mode and other external media. Additionally, a new minigame will debut later in the season, connecting in-game and out-of-game experiences. As for the graphic content, there will be numerous Noxus-themed aspects, including the Ball of the Black Rose line. Furthermore, the most popular thematic lines will return and new themes will be introduced.
The world of League of Legends e-sports will see important innovations, such as the complete Fearless draft and the First Stand tournament. Furthermore, the locations of the main international tournaments for the coming years will be announced. As for game modes, ARURF will be active during Act One, while Act Two will reintroduce Arena with a Noxian-themed update. Furthermore, new changes will be introduced to the Arena maps and new objects and Facilities will be added.
