Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday visited an exhibition of photographs of the Anadolu agency in the Zangilan region of Azerbaijan, which was liberated from the Armenian occupation last year.
AA Chairman and CEO Serdar Karagöz told the two presidents about the photographs presented at the exhibition.
Erdogan and Aliyev also saw a photo of Ozdemir Bayraktar, founder of Baykar, one of Turkey’s leading defense companies, who passed away last month at the age of 72.
“We respectfully honor the memory of Ozdemir Bayraktar, who was awarded the“ Karabakh ”order for his contribution to the Karabakh Victory,” reads the inscription under the portrait.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan paid a one-day visit to Azerbaijan on Tuesday.
During the visit, the President of Turkey took part in the opening ceremony of the international airport in the city of Fizuli, liberated from the Armenian occupation.
