Law to prevent witchcraft and superstition; The report was handed over to the Minister

Thiruvananthapuram: The study report prepared by the Law Reform Commission based on the new social conditions, including the law to prevent witchcraft, superstition and immorality, has been submitted to Law Minister P Rajeev.

The recommendation calls for the enactment of a law to prevent moral gangsterism and to provide protection to those who help those in danger. Law Reform Commission Vice Chairman K Sasidharan Nair and Law Secretary Hari V Nair presented the report to the Minister.

A law has also been proposed to prevent caste-religion-gender based mob violence and mob violence. The Prevention of Fraud and Fraud Act and the Regulation and Welfare of Domestic Workers Act and the Registration and Regulation of Resident Associations Act have been proposed.
