Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov expressed the hope that common sense will prevail on the issue of mutual recognition of vaccination certificates between countries, RIA Novosti reports.
“We see a prejudiced attitude (from the Europeans – approx. RIA Novosti.) To Russian vaccines for political reasons,” Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, answering the question of what stage is mutual recognition of vaccination certificates between countries.
According to him, most EU countries are interested in providing “the most comfortable conditions for people-to-people contacts.”
“I hope common sense will prevail,” Lavrov added.
