Former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav was issued summons in connection with the investigation of money laundering in the land scam for the job and asked him to appear for questioning on Wednesday. On the summons of ED, Lalu Yadav’s wife and former Chief Minister Rabri Devi has reached the ED office today. His daughter Misa Bharti was also present with Rabri Devi.
As soon as Rabri Devi and Misa Bharti reached the ED office, a crowd of RJD supporters gathered outside, all the people are shouting slogans against the central government. However, Tej Pratap Yadav has not reached yet. But perhaps they are likely to come to the ED office for questioning after noon.
The scam is from 2004-09, when Lalu was the Union Railway Minister. In this case, it has been alleged that during 2004-09, substitutes were appointed in Group-D jobs in Railways, in which the recruitment criteria and procedures of Indian Railways were violated.
