What is Lakhpati Didi Yojana?
Lakhpati Didi Yojana is a very ambitious scheme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which was announced from the Red Fort on 15 August 2023. Target of Lakhpati Didi Scheme
Lakhpati Didi Yojana was launched as a mission to eradicate poverty and economic empowerment. Under this, a target of earning more than Rs 1 lakh per year has been set for trained women. Under this scheme, 3 crore women will be trained.

Financial support (to self-help groups and its members)
Capitalization Support
Revolving Fund – Internal lending of Rs 20,000 to Rs 30,000 per eligible Self Help Group
Community Investment Fund (CIF) – This financial assistance is provided only to SHGs and their federations. The maximum amount is Rs 2.50 lakh per SHG.
Bank Loan
Collateral Free Loan – Collateral free bank loan for SHG up to Rs. 20 lakh
Interest Subsidy: Interest subvention up to a maximum of Rs. 3,00,000 on all loans taken by women self help groups from banks and financial institutions.
Overdraft Facility: Every Self Help Group woman member having a Jan Dhan account is eligible for an overdraft (OD) of Rs 5,000.
Women Enterprise Acceleration Fund
1. For individual enterprises
Credit Guarantee Support: Credit guarantee support to individual women entrepreneurs for loans up to INR 5 lakh for a maximum period of 5 years.
Interest rebate on prompt repayment: 2% interest rebate on loans up to Rs 1.5 lakh taken for a maximum tenure of 3 years.
2. Collateral Support for Enterprise Collective / FPO
This fund will be used to provide collateral to lending institutions for up to 50% of the total loan amount (or up to Rs 2 crore, whichever is lower).

Who will be eligible for this scheme
This scheme is for women. Women from any state of India can take advantage of this scheme. For this you will need to join a ‘self help group’ in your state. There is no age limit for this scheme.
