Kyrgyzstan stands for the earliest possible stabilization of the situation in Afghanistan, the republic’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
“We stand for the early stabilization of the situation in this country and express the hope that new institutions of public administration will be formed in the legal field and with the participation of all political and ethnic groups of this country,” the foreign ministry said in a statement.
Bishkek also called on all parties to show maximum restraint, not resort to violence and ensure the safety of the civilian population of Afghanistan, regardless of ethnicity, religion or political views, the inviolability of foreign diplomatic missions, the protection of the rights and interests of all ethnic minorities, including the Kyrgyz of the Bolshoi and the Small Pamir of Afghanistan, as well as guarantee the opportunity for all foreign citizens wishing to leave the country to freely leave Afghanistan.
“The Kyrgyz Republic counts on the early restoration of order and resolution of the crisis situation in Afghanistan through negotiations, without the use of force and hopes that during the upcoming transit period, an acceptable version of the country’s state structure will be found for the friendly people of Afghanistan,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic stressed.
