Thiruvananthapuram: Covid-19 has been confirmed for 4450 people in the state today. It has been confirmed today that 23 deaths in the last few days were due to Covid-19. Know more information.

Thiruvananthapuram 791, Ernakulam 678, Kozhikode 523, Kottayam 484, Kollam 346, Thrissur 345, Kannur 246, Pathanamthitta 219, Idukki 193, Malappuram 158, Alappuzha 147, Palakkad 141, Wayanad 128 and Kasaragod 51 districts were diagnosed with the disease today.

57,722 samples were tested during the last 24 hours. The weekly infection population ratio (WIPR) is 21 wards in 19 local bodies above 10. There will be strict control here.

There are currently 1,67,693 people under surveillance in various districts of the state. Of these, 1,63,323 are under home / institutional quarantine and 4,370 are under hospital surveillance. A total of 256 people were newly admitted to the hospital.

Of the current 43,454 Covid cases, only 7.6 per cent are hospitalized / field hospitals.

It has been confirmed today that 23 deaths in the last few days were due to Covid-19. In addition, 138 deaths have been reported which have been appealed by the Central Government under the new guidelines of the Supreme Court. This brings the total death toll in the state to 41,600.

With this, 43,454 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment. So far 50,80,211 people have been released from Covid.
