An FIR was registered against veteran Bollywood actor and BJP leader Mithun Chakraborty for allegedly making inflammatory speeches during the Bengal election campaign. Now Kolkata Police is interrogating Mithun in this case. Mithun Chakraborty is virtually involved in this police interrogation.
Mithun is accused of uttering dialogues from one of his films, ‘Marbo ekhane lash porbe shoshane‘ and ‘Ek Chobole Chobi‘, during PM Modi’s rally at Brigade Parade Ground on March 7. It means- ‘Will hit you here and the body will land in the crematorium’.
Mithun did not even get relief from the High Court
Earlier, Mithun Chakraborty has moved the Calcutta High Court to quash the FIR against him. But the High Court had ordered that he should join the investigation.
“I am the real cobra, if you bite you will become a photograph.”
During the rally, Mithun Chakraborty made many controversial statements. During the rally at Brigade Ground, Mithun Chakraborty said that “I am the real cobra, one snake bite and you will turn into a photograph.”
Mithun Chakraborty said in an aggressive manner that “I do what I say. I am a cobra, not a water snake. I attack and you will turn into a photograph.”
After Mithun Chakraborty joined BJP, then TMC leader Saugata Roy had said that “Mithun Chakraborty is a star of the bygone era. He changed parties 4 times. Mithun was originally a Naxalite, after that he went to CPM, then joined TMC and became a Rajya Sabha MP.
