- Five soldiers sacrificed during encounter with terrorists in Kashmir
- The army had received news of three to four terrorists hiding in the Pir Panjal area.
- On intelligence inputs, an army contingent went to the spot and surrounded the area.
- However, the ambush terrorists fired heavily on the army and five soldiers were martyred.
On Monday, the country has lost five more of its bravehearts in Kashmir. A contingent of soldiers reached the spot after receiving information about the gathering of terrorists in Pir Panjal of Surankot tehsil. Our brave soldiers had surrounded the terrorists, but one mistake costed us dearly. These terrorists, who entered the border from Pakistan, have so much ammunition, that they could not guess.
The area of Nowshera sector where the encounter took place is adjacent to the LoC. Terrorists coming from Pakistan use this route to enter the valley. His bosses present in Kashmir make complete arrangements to take him safely to the valley. The same thing happened on Sunday night. The terrorists came from across the border and their associates sitting in the valley helped them to the hideout.
Detectives informed the army about this. It was found that three-four terrorists are hiding in the area. Soldiers surrounded the area and offered to surrender to the terrorists. But, the terrorists were also ready. From the incident that has come to light so far, it seems that the terrorists were either aware that the army had got information about them or it is also possible that the terrorists themselves leaked the information about their presence.
If this happens then it can be said that the terrorists laid a complete trap and called the soldiers on the spot. Perhaps the soldiers did not understand this move of the terrorists and they reached the spot taking the information of the intelligence. If they had any idea that they had not received intelligence about the mobilization of terrorists, but the terrorists themselves leaked this information and they are ambushed, then the strategy of our soldiers would have been different.
However, the terrorists fired heavily during the encounter. Our soldiers had no idea of retaliation to such an extent. By the time he could understand the matter, five soldiers were killed in the attack. Now the army has started to find out whether its spy had colluded with the terrorists or whether the spy had also become a victim of trickery to the terrorists?
It is also possible that the terrorists have identified the spy and intimidated him to inform the army about his presence. Well, whatever may have happened, it has to be milk of milk and water of water. Right now the entire focus of the army is on killing the terrorists hiding in Pir Panjal. There the encounter continues.
