Jordan’s national airline, Royal Jordanian, said its flight from Cairo to Amman was forced to announce an emergency landing at Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, 10 minutes ahead of time. planned landing.
The company issued a public statement on Monday according to which the plane had landed urgently, because of an alarm that had gone off suddenly, without knowing the reason.
And to specify that the landing this morning took place safely on the main runway. The 133 passengers and 6 crew members were evacuated to the support runway as a precaution, according to the same press release.
Royal Jordanian is currently working with the authorities concerned to determine the reason for the alarm, while stressing that the safety of its passengers is its priority.
