What did US President Joe Biden say about impeachment against Trump?

US President Joe Biden says that former President Donald Trump should not get a classified intelligence briefing. He said this while citing Trump’s ‘erratic behavior’.
In an interview with “CBS Evening News” anchor Nora O’Donnell when asked if she thinks Trump should get an intelligence briefing if he requested, Biden said, “I guess not.”
When Biden was asked what Trump expected to happen if he kept getting these briefings, he said, “I won’t speculate too much.” There is no need for it.
The US president said, “What does it mean to give them an intelligence briefing?” What effect can he make? Instead, the fact is that his tongue can slip and he can say anything.
According to CNN, former presidents in the US have traditionally been allowed to request and receive intelligence briefings.
A New York Times report states that at present, these briefings are given regularly to Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama.
In an interview aired on Friday, Biden refused to answer whether he would have voted to convict Trump in the impeachment trial next week if he had been a senator. He said, “Look, I insisted on defeating him because I thought he was unfit to be president.” Along with that he said that he is no longer in the Senate, so he leaves the decision over the Senate.
