Job Vacancy for Clerks in Bombay High Court: Applications have been invited for recruitment to 129 clerk posts in Bombay High Court. Out of these posts, 124 posts will be included in the select list and 31 posts will be included in the wait list. The application process has started from 22 January 2025. The last date for submitting applications is 5 February 2025. This recruitment process will be done at the head office of the High Court, Mumbai.
Clerk recruitment posts and pay scale
A total of 129 posts are available in this recruitment, out of which 5 posts are reserved for the disabled. Selected candidates will get a pay scale of Rs 29,200 to Rs 92,300 per month under S-10 pay matrix along with other allowances.

Age Limit
- General Category: 18 to 38 years.
- Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Backward Class: 18 to 43 years.
- High Court or Government Servant: Minimum 18 years (no maximum age limit).

Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university is required. Preference will be given to those having law degree.
- There should be a speed of 40 words per minute in English typing.
- One should be able to use word processor and other important software like MS Word, Open Office on computer.

The application fee is Rs 100, which has to be deposited through online mode only.

Shortlisted candidates will have to pay an additional fee of Rs 400 for the screening test.

Selection will be done in 3 steps
Candidates will be selected in three steps:
1. Screening Test
The screening test will be of total 90 marks. There will be questions related to English, Marathi, General Knowledge, Reasoning, Arithmetic and Computer. at least to pass Minimum passing marks has been kept at 45.
2. Typing Test
During the typing test, 10 minutes will be given for typing 400 words. This test is of total 20 marks, in which the marks required to pass is 10.
3. Viva-Voce (Interview)
Viva-Voice or Interview will be of total 40 marks, in which the minimum marks required to pass will be (Minimum passing marks) has been kept at 16.
