JioPhone Prima 2 Launched:Reliance Industries (RIL) has launched another budget feature phone in the Indian market. The latest JioPhone Prima 2 equipped with 4G connectivity is priced at less than Rs 3000. It has 512MB RAM and 4GB internal storage and Qualcomm chipset. This phone will replace Jio Phone Prima 4G. Now video calls can be made directly from the feature phone JioPhone Prima 2 without any third party app.

The company has launched its latest Jio Phone Prima 2 at a price of just Rs 2,799. It has a 2,000mAh battery which can be easily replaced. In terms of photography, the new phone has a single camera at the rear. A front camera is available for selfies and video calling.

The new phone works on the KaiOS operating system. JioPhone Prima 2 phone has apps like YouTube, Google Assistant, Facebook, JioCinema, JioChat. Apart from this, JioPay app support is available for digital transactions. The new phone does not have WhatsApp facility. In fact, recently Meta has removed WhatsApp support from KaiOS. The phone supports 23 Indian languages, which means people in the country will be able to use this phone in local languages. The display size of JioPhone Prima 2 is 2.4 inches which is provided with a curved finish. It has support for 3.5mm headphone jack, microSD card slot, LED torch and FM radio. Like other JioPhone variants, Prima 2 has 4G support.

Special recharge plans are available for Jio phone
Jio offers a special recharge plan for its feature phone users. The plan starts at Rs 91. The validity of the plan is 28 days. With this plan, you get 100MB data and unlimited calling every day. The second recharge plan is for Rs 152. Its validity is also 28 days. With this plan, you get 0.5GB data and unlimited calling every day. Apart from this, the annual plan is for Rs 895. The validity of the plan is 336 days. With this plan, you get 2GB data daily for 28 days.
