Reliance Jio price hike from July 3, 2024,Reliance Jio has increased the tariff of all its plans from today i.e. 3 July 2024. The prices of both prepaid and postpaid plans have increased significantly. The prices of different plans have increased from 12 to 27 percent. In fact, during the last few days, along with Reliance Jio, Airtel and Vodafone Idea have also increased the tariff of their mobile plans. Mobile companies want to increase their average revenue per user (ARPU – Average Revenue Per User) through this increase. They are also linking it to investment in the development of new technologies like 5G and AI for the development of the industry. But for the common user, this means that the burden of expenditure on their pocket will increase further.
Entry level of free unlimited 5G facility increased
Apart from this, Jio and Airtel users will now get free unlimited 5G facility on more expensive plans. Earlier, under Jio’s welcome offer, you were getting this facility on a plan of Rs 239, but now you will have to spend at least Rs 349 for this. This facility will now be available only on plans with 2GB data per day or more. Airtel has also started a similar plan for 5G.
