Jio International Roaming Plans: There is good news for people who travel abroad. For such people, Jio has changed its roaming plan. The company gave this information through a press release on Friday. This move of Jio will save money for people traveling to countries like Canada, Europe (32 places), Thailand, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates and Caribbean Islands (24 places).
Customers travelling abroad will have to spend less money than before for Jio’s international roaming plan. According to the press release issued, now more data and more value will be available with international roaming plans of different validity. The company has said that free in-flight benefits will also be given with Europe and Caribbean monthly packs. Pay-go rates have been reduced to 50% for 32 places outside India.

Jio has launched special roaming plans for preferred destinations outside India like UAE, Canada, Thailand and Saudi Arabia. The main benefits and features of the roaming plans introduced for foreign countries are as follows-
Unlimited incoming SMS
Outgoing calls include local calls within the visited country and calls back to India (calls back to India also include Wi-Fi calling)
Incoming calls can be received from any country including Wi-Fi calling
High-speed data and beyond that Fair Usage Policy (FUP), which means unlimited data at 64kbps once you exhaust your data quota for the day
Outgoing local and RoW calls and SMS are not allowed over Wi-Fi calling (To make calls/SMS, just disable Wi-Fi calling in your device settings.)
Standard pay-go rates will apply to calls to the UAE and the Caribbean Islands.
The new international roaming plans introduced for countries based in Europe, Thailand, Canada etc include special packs for popular destinations in 24 countries in the Caribbean. The key features and benefits of the Caribbean Pack are as follows.

Outgoing calls also include local calls within the country and call back and ROW within India.

High-speed data and beyond that Fair Usage Policy (FUP), which means once you exhaust your data quota for the day, unlimited data at 64 kbps
