Jharkhand: JMM leader Hemant Soren took oath as CM for the fourth time, Governor administered the oath of office and secrecy.

The oath ceremony of the CM and ministers of the new government of the state was organized at Morhabadi Ground in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. In this ceremony, Hemant Soren took oath as Chief Minister for the record fourth time. Jharkhand Governor Santosh Gangwar administered the oath to him.

Before taking oath, Hemant Soren also gave a message to the public. Hemant Soren said that today is not about political victory, today is a day to reiterate our struggle for social justice and the battle that we have to fight every day to strengthen social unity. This day also shows that the great people of Jharkhand are standing together amidst the increasing pressure on democracy. Today one voice is resonating in every village and every city – rights, equality, unity means the voice of Jharkhandiyat.

Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge, Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav and other senior opposition leaders are expected to participate in the oath taking programme.
