Kunhalikutty informed the ED that he was ready to appear another day. He said he could not attend due to personal reasons. But the ED has not taken a favorable position in this regard. MLA KT Jalil had said that the ED had summoned Kunhalikutty and his son Aashiq on the seventh day to testify on the money laundering allegations. He was speaking to the media after giving his statement at the ED office.
PK Kunhalikutty informed the Enforcement Directorate that he could not appear after the statement was made by KT Jaleel. The ED had sent a notice to Chandrika to give a statement regarding the financial irregularities. KT Jalil said that he was called to make it clear that he knew some things.
“In addition to the documents provided, some other documents are required. I understand that the ED summoned Kunhalikutty on Friday and his son Aashiq on the seventh day. The matter has not come up in connection with the AR Nagar Co-operative Bank. Jaleel alleged that money laundering and illicit money laundering had been going on for some time under the guise of Muslim League organizations and institutions.

KT Jaleel’s main allegation was that Kunhalikutty was involved in money laundering under the guise of AR Nagar Co – operative Bank. He had alleged that Kunhalikutty had Rs 300 crore in black money in the co-operative bank.
