ITR filing deadline extended to November 15 2024 for corporates: The government has again extended the deadline for filing income tax returns. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) has extended the deadline for filing tax returns for the financial year 2024-25 to 15 November 2024. Earlier this deadline was 31 October 2024.This increase is for those taxpayers who come under sub-section (1) of Section 139 of Income Tax.CBDT of the Department of Revenue of the Union Finance Ministry gave this information through a circular on Saturday, 26 October 2024.
Now companies have 15 more days to file their tax returns i.e. till 15 November 2024, which has been extended from the earlier last date of 31 October 2024. This increase will give companies additional time to file their returns correctly and completely.
