It was these players who embarrassed Mumbai; Concerned India too, Captain wins huge fine !!

The Mumbai Indians were in trouble after losing the second match in a row in the UAE edition of the IPL. The team suffered its fifth defeat in nine games. Kolkata Knight Riders, meanwhile, are fourth in the points table with consecutive wins. KKR won the match by 7 wickets.

Mumbai’s last two matches have been marked by the absence of an all-rounder. In the absence of Hardik Pandya, neither Krunal Pandya nor Kieron Pollard can take responsibility. Suryakumar Yadav was a complete failure in both the matches. Jaspreet Bumra also can’t find the rhythm. Rahul Chahar, who was part of India’s World Cup squad, also faded. As the World Cup draws near, the form of the Mumbai team is worrying the Indian team.

KKR’s performance against Mumbai was a testament to the confidence of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Though Mumbai dominated early in the match, the team was able to get back into the match quickly and win easily. The bowling performance of Varun Chakraborty, Sunil Narine and Loki Ferguson is noteworthy. Rahul Tripathi (74) joined Venkatesh Iyer (53) in the second innings.

The only disappointment for KKR was the loss in the second match between the famous Krishna and Andre Russell, who shone in the first match in the UAE. The fact that the spinners remain in form will strengthen the team’s forward momentum. Venkatesh Iyer’s batting is another positive for the team. Meanwhile, KKR captain Eoin Morgan was fined Rs 24 lakh for a low over rate.

The defeat of the middle-order batsmen was the main reason for Mumbai’s defeat. Rohit Sharma (33) and Quinton de Kok (55) were unable to capitalize on the start. While Suryakumar and Ishant Kishan failed, Kieron Pollard also failed to put up a big innings. Mumbai’s hopes were for spin-friendly pitch spinners. However, Krunal Pandya and Rahul Chahar accurately accelerated the Panthers’ defeat.
