IPL 2025 Mega Auction:Today is the last day of the player auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Today, bidding will be done on 493 players in the auction that started last day.The first day (Sunday) of the IPL mega auction continues in Jeddah (Abady Al Johar Arena), Saudi Arabia. All 10 franchises bought 72 players to prepare their team and spent a total of Rs 467.95 crore on them. On this day, 84 players were put in the auction, but 12 players could not be sold.
Rishabh Pant becomes the most expensive player of IPL
Rishabh Pant, Shreyas Iyer and Venkatesh Iyer wrote a new chapter in the history of IPL. These three players became the most expensive Indian players of IPL. Lucknow Super Giants bid Rs 27 crore on Pant, while Punjab Kings bid Rs 26.75 crore for Shreyas Iyer and Kolkata Knight Riders bid Rs 23.75 crore for Venkatesh Iyer.
