IPL 2022: Shock to RCB even before IPL starts, this star player may be out of the opening match

Melbourne: Australia’s explosive batsman Glenn Maxwell is part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) team in IPL 2022. The franchise retained Maxwell for 11 crores. The new season of IPL is to start at the end of March. It has not been officially announced yet, but it is believed that the first match of the league will be played on March 27. Even before the start of the tournament, problems have arisen for the Bangalore team.

Glenn Maxwell’s wedding is also to take place on March 27. She will be married to Vini Raman of Indian origin. It has been almost two years since both of them got engaged. They were to be married last year only, but due to Corona, they had to wait for a year. Because of this, Maxwell can be out of the opening match of IPL. The wedding card of both is also getting viral on social media.

Along with this, there is an ODI series between Australia and Pakistan from March 29. The T20 match will be played between the two teams on 5th April. Maxwell will not be able to take part in this series as well. “When I first discussed the dates with Cricket Australia, there was a gap of two weeks. So I was very happy that no series will be missed. Then at the end of last year, when there was a meeting with Cricket Australia, they told that there will be a Pakistan series at that time.

Glenn Maxwell of Australia was one of the most successful batsmen of the last season. He scored 513 runs in 14 innings he played for Bengaluru. He scored these runs at an average of 42.75 and strike rate of 144.10. He was at number 5 in terms of scoring the most runs in the league. No batsman who scored more runs than him had a better strike rate than him. Now his absence in the beginning of the league is a big blow for RCB.
