Exciting start to IPL battles in Dubai. Mumbai Indians will take on Chennai Super Kings in the IPL Classico. Mumbai will be without captain Rohit Sharma. Rohit did not go down because he was not fully fit. Instead, the team will be led by vice-captain Kieron Pollard. Hardik Pandya is also not playing.

Chennai skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to bat first. Anmol Preet Singh makes his debut for Mumbai. Sam Karan is not playing in the Chennai Super Kings team. Substitute is Josh Hazlewood. Faf Duplessis, who was suspected of not playing, is on the team.
