Infosys Chief Executive Officer Salil Parekh said AI will be used to leverage cloud-based digital services for Liberty Global.
The duration of the contract is five years. It can be extended for eight years. The value of the contract extension deals will touch $2.5 billion. The deal is expected to help Liberty Global generate more than €100 million a year, including new investments in technology.
Liberty Global will license to Infosys all platforms developed and manufactured under RAR, including state-of-the-art AI technologies. The advantage is that the company can offer similar services to new operators and new markets.
400 employees of Liberty Global will be involved along with Infosys. . Senior executives from Liberty Global’s product, technology development and service delivery groups will also join Infosys. The company is ready to welcome new talent and team members.
