US Secretary of State Tony Blinken on Tuesday met Indian Foreign Minister S. on the sidelines of the G7 meeting in Fiuggi, Italy. After the meeting with Jaishankar, he said that the United States and India are stronger when they cooperate.
Posting on social media platform X, Blinken wrote, America and India are stronger when we are working together. Indian External Affairs Minister Jaishankar and I discussed in Italy today the importance of our continued close cooperation in promoting global security and prosperity. He also shared a photo of their meeting.
Jaishankar shared the post on X, stating that he discussed global issues and the growing India-US partnership with Blinken. After the meeting, State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller emphasized that the United States is committed to close coordination with India to address global security challenges.
