The Government of India had earlier released the current guideline on 17 February. Now the government has reviewed it due to less cases of corona. It has been said in this order that the amended protocol will have to be followed by passengers and airline companies at the time of entry into the country so that at-risk passengers can be identified. As per the order, all passengers will have to fill up a self-declared form and upload it on the online Air Suvidha portal just before their journey.

Apart from this, the negative RT PCR report of Corona (within 72 hours from the departure) and the declaration form related to the authenticity of the report will have to be filled. It has also been said in this order that the passengers will have to give an undertaking on the portal itself that if needed, they will remain home quarantined or self-monitor their health.

In this order, additional steps have also been taken for some countries where the spread of corona is still fast. Information about these countries can be obtained from the Ministry of Health of India or Ministry of External Affairs or Air Suvidha Portal. Countries that give quarantine-free entry to citizens of India, passengers coming to India from there will be exempted. It has been said in these instructions that all passengers are advised to download the Arogya Setu App on their mobiles.
