Kochi: The Thiruvananthapuram High Court has voluntarily registered a case in the incident where a pet dog was beaten to death at Adimalathura. The case was registered on the basis of a letter from Justice AK Sankaran Nambiar. Strong protests against the incident are rising on social media.

Christuraj said the attackers were provoked by a dog lying under the boat. Christuraj had posted the footage of the incident on Facebook. As the incident unfolded, heavy protests erupted. As soon as the footage came out, the attackers went to Christuraj’s house and threatened him.
