At the parliamentary meeting held in September, the IMM presidency was authorized to borrow more than 655 million Euros + VAT and insurance premium for the continuation of the three metro projects.

With the decision passed by the parliament in September on the establishment of the IETT Vehicle Purchase and Maintenance Affairs Investigation-Research Commission to examine the vehicle maintenance and repair tenders due to the busses that broke down recently, the zoning plan amendments for the National Garden in Beykoz, which was accepted at the meeting last month, were also made by İBB President Ekrem İmamoğlu. In addition, the proposal to establish a new unit called the Precautionary and Inspection Fire Brigade Branch, which was rejected at the meeting in September, was returned to the parliament for reconsideration by İmamoğlu.

Hadımköy Public Bread Factory tender discussion

CHP Group Spokesperson Tarık Balyalı took the floor off the agenda and replied to the statement of AK Party İBB Assembly Group Deputy Chairman Tevfik Göksu that Hadımköy Public Bread Factory would be rented.

Stating that the ownership of the factory belongs to İBB, Balyalı said, “As this is a production facility, İBB cannot transfer it to its affiliates. The places belonging to our municipality were previously leased to our subsidiaries related to the tender method by the committee. This is what is done today. It will not be given to third parties.” he said.

AK Party Law Commission Chairman Muhammet Kaynar stated that he did not write an institution name in the tender specifications and expressed that they would be pleased if the factory was handed over to Halk Ekmek.
