2.31 crore poor people were given pucca houses
He said that according to this survey, out of 2.31 crore poor people who were given pucca houses in the country, 31 percent are people living in notified minority areas. The Minister of Minority Affairs said that similarly 12 crore farmers have got the benefit of Samman Nidhi, out of which 33 percent belong to Muslim, Christian, Sikh and Jain community living in the notified minority area. He said that 9 crore women have got the benefit of Ujjwala scheme, out of which 37 percent are sisters from minority communities.
35.6% beneficiaries of Mudra Yojana are from minority community
Naqvi said that there are 34 crore beneficiaries of Mudra Yojana under self-employment, out of which 35.6 percent belong to the minority community. Naqvi said that the Modi government is working on the policy of development with respect and empowerment without appeasement and the benefits of the welfare schemes of the ministries issued all over the country are being equally available to the people of minority communities along with all sections. Said that “development draft is not a vote deal” for our government.

Responding to a question related to the low budgetary allocation of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Naqvi said that as far as the budgetary allocation to the ministry is concerned, we will show the mirror then there will be trouble. He said that in the year 2013-14 before our government came, the budgetary allocation was Rs 1,888 crore and the actual expenditure was Rs 1,814 crore. Whereas in the financial year 2020-21, the budgetary allocation was Rs 2,530 crore and the actual expenditure was around Rs 2,400 crore. He said that our expenditure is being done properly and we are working for it to see its effect on the ground.
