Hyundai Creta Electric vs Mahindra Be 6e:Hyundai will soon launch its best selling model Creta in electric version. The company recently revealed all the major details about the upcoming Creta electric SUV like battery, range, and features but has not yet given information about its price. Hyundai’s new electric Creta will compete with vehicles like MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6e in the Indian market. Apart from this, Creta Electric will also compete with Maruti Suzuki’s upcoming electric car Maruti Suzuki e Vitara. Mahindra had launched its BE 6e last year itself at a starting price of Rs 18.90 lakh (ex-showroom). Creta Electric vs Mahindra BE: Battery specs
Both Creta Electric and Mahindra BE 6e are offered with two battery options. Hyundai’s new electric car will come with 42 kWh and 51 kWh battery options, which claim a range of 390 to 473 km on a single charge (ARAI certified). Car manufacturing company Creta Electric of South Korea will get the support of 11kW connected wall box AC charger, which can fully charge the battery from 10 percent in four hours. With the help of DC fast charger, the battery of Creta Electric can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 58 minutes.

Mahindra BE 6e has also been introduced with two battery options. In which the first option is 59 kWh and 79 kWh. Both the batteries are made of special chemical (Lithium Ferrous Phosphate – LFP). The company claims that the 59 kWh variant of Mahindra BE 6e is capable of giving 535 km range (ARAI certified) on a single full charge, while the 79 kWh battery gives a range of 682 km per charge. These batteries can be charged from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes with the help of a 175 kW DC fast charger. Apart from this, 11 kW AC fast charger is also supported in BE 6e, it can fully charge 59 kWh battery in 6 hours and 79 kWh battery in 8 hours.

Creta Electric vs Mahindra Be 6e: Motor specs
The motor specifications available in Creta Electric have not been disclosed yet by the company. However, the company has said that the 51 kWh variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 7.9 seconds. The Creta Electric is expected to be powered by a single, front-wheel drive electric motor.
Talking about Mahindra BE 6e, it has rear-wheel drive, single electric motor. This motor generates 218 bhp power for the 59 kWh variant and 280 bhp power for the 79 kWh variant. The torque output for both variants is 380 Nm. It is being told that the top variant of Mahindra BE 6e can accelerate from 0 to 100 km per hour in just 6.7 seconds.
