Mahindra XUV 3XO vs Mahindra XUV300; Mahindra XUV300 old vs new: Mahindra & Mahindra introduced the updated version of its popular model Mahindra XUV300 at the end of last month. Many changes have been made in the new SUV with the attractive name Mahindra XUV 3XO in the Indian market. Many new features have been added to it. This is the first car in its segment to have panoramic sunroof feature. Apart from this, the latest car has features like Smart Sense Level 2 ADAS feature, two 10.25 inch screens each for infotainment and instrument cluster, Harman Kardon’s premium audio system. Many such features have been added to the updated Mahindra XUV300 which are not available in the old model. design change
Mahindra has launched its XUV 3XO with many changes compared to the existing XUV300. The profile silhouette of the new SUV has been retained but the front and rear end are updated. The latest car includes an updated black grille with Mahindra logo and vertical bar in chrome, new C-shaped LED DRLs setup, LED headlights, new bumper and a more creased bonnet. At the rear, the newly designed bumper and connected LED taillights have also been updated.
First car in its segment equipped with panoramic sunroof feature
This is the first car in its segment to have panoramic sunroof feature. In the Indian car market, most of the customers look for vehicles equipped with this feature. The panoramic sunroof in the XUV 3XO covers almost 70 percent of the car’s roof and is electronically operated. The current Mahindra XUV300 does not have a panoramic sunroof feature.
Many latest features are available in the new car
Mahindra has introduced its new XUV 3XO with many features which are not available in the existing XUV300. These include some of the latest features like wireless Android Auto, 360 degree camera, 6 speaker Harman Kardon sound system.
Now you get a bigger infotainment system than before
Mahindra has given a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the XUV 3XO, whereas the current XUV300 has a 9-inch screen. Apart from this, to further improve the new car, Mahindra has added AdrenoX user interface in XUV 3XO. This new feature is available in vehicles like XUV700 and Scorpio N.
Driver display size increased
The size of the digital drive display in the XUV 3XO SUV has also increased to 10.25 inches. This display not only provides key driving information like the tire pressure monitoring system, but also screens navigation, blind spot camera and Smart Sense Level 2 ADAS features.
boot space
The biggest drawback of the current XUV300 was the lack of luggage area at the rear. Mahindra also redesigned the boot space to accommodate luggage and has increased the boot space to 364 liters in the updated XUV 3XO SUV. Whereas the boot space in the current Mahindra XUV300 is 257 liters.
interior space
The latest Mahindra XUV 3XO car is 3990 mm long, 1821 mm wide and 1647 mm high. Almost equal to this, the current Mahindra XUV300 car is 3995 mm long, 1821 mm wide and 1627 mm high. The wheelbase of both the new and old cars is 2600 mm. Nevertheless, Mahindra has been able to increase the space for the rear passengers as well as the boot i.e. luggage space.
new set of wheels
New wheel setup has been given in the new Mahindra XUV 3XO. The current Mahindra XUV300 comes with 16-inch wheels while the updated avatar (2024 Mahindra XUV 3XO) is equipped with 17-inch wheels. Changes are also seen in the design of the wheel.
Variant naming changed
Mahindra has introduced XUV 3XO in 9 variants, the variants have been renamed as MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5 Luxury, AX7 and AX7 Luxury. Whereas the variants of XUV300 model were named in W series. Which include W2, W4, W6, W8 W8 (O).
new color options
In terms of exterior color options, the new Mahindra XUV 3XO is available in many options. There are 8 color options for customers to choose from, which include Citrine Yellow, Deep Forest, Dune Beige, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Nebula Blue. Blue), Stealth Black and Tango red. Apart from this, Mahindra is also offering it in double color option with black roof.
