Talking about UP, monsoon reaches Uttar Pradesh only after 10-15 June. At present, there is no forecast of monsoon rain in the state for a week. However, due to clouds formed due to heat, pre-monsoon-like rain with thunder and lightning can be seen in some parts of the state. There is no hope of getting any special relief in Bihar as well.
It has been more than 5 days since the monsoon arrived in the country. Experts say that the monsoon has made very good progress in the last 5 days. They say that sometimes in the month of June, the monsoon stops after the initial surge, but this time it does not seem to be happening. On June 4, the monsoon touched Goa. Along with this, it has covered most of Telangana and some areas of Andhra Pradesh and is still where it was on May 31 in eastern India. Even now, the monsoon is not going to move from eastern India to western India for the next 3-4 days.
It may rain in these states including Rajasthan
A report by Skymet has stated that the effect of a cyclonic circulation over Central Pakistan and another cyclonic circulation is going to be seen in western Rajasthan and its surrounding areas. There is a possibility of rain in the areas from Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Barmer to Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, Bikaner, Jhunjhunu. Dust storms can also occur. Another cyclonic circulation is towards Bihar and eastern Uttar Pradesh. And the other is seen from Madhya Pradesh to Maharashtra, South Karnataka and the coastal areas of Goa. The winds coming from the Arabian Sea are expected to turn towards eastern India on June 12-13.
In the last 24 hours, there has been heavy rain in Khandwa, Pune, Goa, Sangli, Gulbarga. In such a situation, it seems that the monsoon will progress in the southern areas of Maharashtra, South Konkan and southern parts of Central Maharashtra. Similarly, the entire area of Karnataka will be covered. Along with some other areas of Telangana, it can also cover the coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh. It is possible that within 2-3 days, it can reach southern Chhattisgarh like Jagdalpur, Narayanpur, Sukma, Bastar areas and some parts of Odisha.
