Paris Saint Germain (PSG) reinforced the squad led by Luis Enrique with the “successor to Cristiano Ronaldo”, it is about Gonçalo Ramos, 22-year-old striker, from Benfica.
Ramos of 185 centimeters is added to a loan assigned for one year, although with a purchase option of $65 million dollars plus $15 in variables. It “can be exercised by any of the clubs during the season”, according to what the Portuguese entity communicated to the Securities Market Commission of its country.
With this contract the PSG reserves a margin of financial flexibility to continue working in this marketespecially with a view to trying to add French international striker Randal Kolo Muani, currently at Eintracht Frankfurt.
Ramos stated that: “It is a great pride and an immense happiness to join Paris Saint-Germain. It is one of the biggest clubs in the world with one of the best squads.”. The attacker made his debut in official matches with the Portuguese team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, in the round of 16 match against Switzerland, in which he started in place of Cristiano Ronaldo and scored three goals and provided an assist.
Last season he was the second highest scorer in the Portuguese league with 19 goals that helped his team win the League. And in the Champions League he scored seven goals and gave five assists in 14 games.

Nasser Al-Khelaifi, executive president of PSG, spoke at the presentation of the Portuguese player and launched a hint against the French world champion in 2018.
“We are delighted to welcome Gonçalo Ramos to the PSG family as our newest and most exciting striker”Al-Khelaifi stressed.
And he indicated: “He is a fantastic and ultra-motivated young international player who fights for the team. He this is the type of players we want in the future of our institution ”.
Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappé is still away from the Paris Saint-Germain first team after, as anticipated, this Monday he trained with the group of those discarded in the club’s sports city in Poissy.
The French star did not stop on this occasion to sign autographs for the fans after training, nor did he meet Al-Khelaïfi or the team coach, Luis Enrique Martínez.
