HDFC Bank UPI downtime: If you are a customer of HDFC Bank and are going to use the UPI service linked to your bank account for any work after midnight today, then take a look at this news. Actually, UPI based services like Google Pay, WhatsApp Pay, PayTM, HDFC Bank app linked to HDFC Bank will be affected for 3 hours after midnight today. HDFC Bank has given information related to UPI downline to all its customers through email on Thursday, August 8.
In the email, the bank has informed that UPI services will be affected for three hours after midnight on Friday i.e. from 2:30 AM to 5:30 AM on Saturday. That is, during this time customers will not be able to use the UPI service linked to HDFC Bank. The bank has informed that the UPI service linked to the bank will be affected for 3 hours late Friday night due to necessary system maintenance.

These services will be affected for three hours
The bank is going to do a system maintenance update after midnight today to further improve its services and provide better facilities to the customers. During this time, HDFC Bank’s financial and non-financial services will remain suspended for the bank’s current and savings account holders.
Apart from the HDFC Bank app, financial and non-financial payments will not be possible through UPI services linked to the bank such as Google Pay (GPay), WhatsApp Pay, PayTM, Shriram Finance and Mobikwik. Currently, HDFC Bank customers are allowed to transact up to Rs 1 lakh in a day through UPI linked to the bank. They are allowed to make up to 20 transactions within 24 hours for both person to person and person to merchants.
