Epic Games seems ready to welcome the famous Japanese virtual singer Hatsune Miku into its successful battle royale, Fortnite. Several sources have confirmed the arrival of the Vocaloid in 2025, although details on cosmetics, emotes and release date are still shrouded in mystery. In the meantime, the most attentive players have already discovered some Hatsune Miku themed Easter eggs within the game. The first is located in the Seaport City hotel, the point of interest featuring a large inflatable shark. On the reception counter, on the left, you can notice a leek, a clear reference to the famous vegetable associated with the virtual singer.
It is not yet clear which version of the Hatsune Miku design will be used by Epic Games, but the possibilities are many considering the wide range of looks that have characterized her since her debut in 2007. The arrival of Hatsune Miku adds to a series of High-profile Fortnite collaborations, including Mariah Carey, Snoop Dogg, and Shaquille O’Neal at Winterfest 2024, plus new Cyberpunk 2077 and Star-themed content Wars.
