Haryana Election Results 2024 Live Updates: The results of Haryana elections will come tomorrow i.e. Tuesday 8th October. Voting was held on October 5 for all 90 assembly seats of the state adjacent to the national capital Delhi. This time in Haryana, Congress along with CPM has contested elections on 90 seats and has given one seat to CPM. Whereas, BJP has contested elections on 89 seats. Apart from this, Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party has contested elections on all 90 seats.
A total of 1,031 candidates, including 464 independents and 101 women, are in the fray for all 90 seats in 22 districts in Haryana. This month, on October 5, voting was held for all the seats in the state in a single phase. The main parties in Haryana elections are BJP, Congress, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), Indian National Lok Dal (INLD)-Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP)-Azad Samaj Party (ASP). There is a possibility of direct contest between BJP and Congress on most of the seats.
When will the counting start?
Haryana election results will come today. Counting of votes will start at 8 am. Election officials, along with agents representing political parties, will reach the counting centres. At the same time, polling officers will be deployed at their respective counting tables by 6 am.
First the postal ballots will be counted, after 30 minutes i.e. half an hour the EVM votes will be counted. Haryana Chief Electoral Officer Pankaj Aggarwal said that the exact information about each phase of counting will be updated on the Election Commission website on time. According to exit polls, Congress party can make a big comeback in Haryana and can get more than half of the seats, in which most of the polls are giving it 44-61 seats. BJP is expected to get 18-32 seats. This time voter participation in Haryana was 67.90%. According to the Election Commission data released on this Sunday, the voting percentage in Ellenabad assembly seat of Sirsa district was more than 80%, which is the highest.
