On time again, on occasion Mid-Autumn Festival Hang Ma Street (Hanoi) is filled with colorful goods. The costumes and toys are diverse, unique, and both strange and familiar, creating beautiful “props” for photography and fashion enthusiasts.
Taking advantage of the unique and impressive “background”, photographers and models (professional and amateur) create splendid photo “concepts”, imbued with the traditional holiday atmosphere.
Hang Ma Street is usually colorful because it has long been a place specializing in selling children’s toys, decorations, and Mid-Autumn Festival toys. Recently, with the development of social networking platforms, taking fashion photos with the colorful street scene has become popular.
With meticulous outfits, makeup, and props, young girlfriend Hoang Thi Phuong had a photo shoot on the occasion of September 2nd. Mid-Autumn Festival gorgeous

Sharing with reporters, photographer Cong Mac said: “There are two ways to take photos here. One is to rent 50,000 VND/30 minutes of shooting, the other is to buy goods and take photos to check-in. Grasping the increasing demand of young girls (and many women who love beautiful photos and fashion), my team and I regularly organize photo shoots of this type. Each season has its own activities, our team builds ideas to create well-prepared photo sets to satisfy the ladies, serving from makeup, hair to costumes and filming, photography…”.
Hoang Thi Phuong (19 years old) said: “Hang Ma Street and many other corners of Hanoi are very bright these days, bearing many characteristics of the capital and full of art, so people who love photography and fashion like me often… cannot ignore it. A photo album is both a way for me to preserve the beautiful moments of my youth and also something I can send to friends far away to share joy or share on social networks to “live virtual” a bit for fun”…
The Mid-Autumn Festival of the year of the Dragon falls on September 17, before that is the National Day on September 2 and not long after that is the Capital Liberation Day on October 10. The big holidays follow each other so the capital is decorated more splendidly and methodically, allowing photography and fashion enthusiasts to freely “eat pictures”.
