Guidelines issued for international flights in view of corona mutations
In India, the graph of the corona has been falling continuously, the number of new cases and deaths from corona has seen a decrease for the last several days. But in the meantime, the Indian government is taking precautions in view of different mutations of corona. Therefore, a new guideline has been issued for travelers coming from abroad. In which it has been told that the passengers have to follow the rules for travel.
Caution regarding corona mutation
The new mutation of the corona has been mentioned in this guideline issued by the Indian Ministry of Health. It says that in many countries, Corona has changed its form. Which includes countries like UK, South Africa and Brazil. Which is continuously spreading in the country around the world.
These guidelines have been issued by the government in two parts. Out of which SOP has been issued for all international passengers in Part A, while in Part B, the rules are given for passengers coming from United Kingdom, Europe and Middle East to India.
Let us first tell you the guidelines issued in Part A. In this, all information has been provided for planning for travel, what to do before boarding, what to keep in mind during travel and what rules to follow at the arrival.
- All passengers will have to fill a self declaration form on the Air Suvidha portal. Apart from this, you will also have to submit your negative corona RT-PCR report during travel scheduling. Which should not be 72 hours old from the journey.
- Written guarantee has to be given about this thing that, according to government regulations, passengers will do home quarantine or self-monitoring for 14 days.
- Only those passengers who have a sudden death of a person in their family will be allowed to come without a negative corona report. That is, they have to travel to India in emergency.
- Only those passengers, who will not have any symptoms, will be allowed during boarding. Along with this, self declaration form will also be seen on the Air Suvidha portal.
Guidelines for UK, Europe and Middle East
Now let’s talk about the rules of the second i.e. B Part. Guidelines for travelers coming to India from the United Kingdom, Europe and the Middle East on behalf of the government states
- Passengers will have to give information about their past 14 days travel history on the online Air Suvidha portal (www.newdelhiairport.in).
- Along with this, travelers will also have to give information about how far they have to travel after landing in India.
- Travelers coming to India from the UK, Europe and the Middle East must bring with them the Corona’s Negative RT-PCR report, which should not be older than 72 hours.
- All airline companies have been instructed to allow boarding only those passengers who have filled the self-declaration form and those who have a negative Covid report.
- Separate seating arrangements should be made for passengers traveling from UK, Europe and Middle East in the last 14 days or coming from here.
- Passengers will be allowed to exit only after the test is found negative at the airport, the whole process may take 6 to 8 hours.
- Passengers whose report comes negative at the airport will be allowed to go to another flight or to their home. But during this time, he has been instructed to stay in his home in Quarantine for the first 7 days and then self-monitoring for the next 7 days.
Apart from all these, instructions have been given to avoid congestion during testing at the airport and to provide digital payment options with online booking.
