Online Registration for PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2023: The government is running a special scheme for artisans. Under this scheme, they can easily get loans. The name of this scheme being run for artisans is PM Vishwakarma Yojana. Under the scheme, artisans can avail loans up to Rs 3 lakh, that too at a concessional interest rate of just 5%. The government will provide subsidy of up to 8% on this loan. PM Vishwakarma Yojana includes 18 sectors related to carpenters, goldsmiths, blacksmiths, masons, stone sculptors, barbers and sailors. PM Vishwakarma Yojana was started by the central government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Under the PM Vishwakarma Yojana, the government will initially provide a loan of Rs 1 lakh to the artisans and after making payments for 18 months, the beneficiary will be eligible for an additional loan of Rs 2 lakh. The interest rate will remain at 5 percent. Benefits of PM Vishwakarma Yojana

• Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana aims to provide valuable assistance to skilled artisans.
• This scheme includes a comprehensive training programme conducted by the Small and Medium Enterprises Department located at the Tehsil or District Headquarters.
• The successful applicant of Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana will get a training session, which will be an important step towards increasing employment opportunities.
• The scheme includes provision of financial assistance equivalent to semi-skilled wages to trained artisans.
• In this scheme, every beneficiary will be given skill training for 5 days along with a daily allowance of Rs 500. Each beneficiary will be identified in a three-tier manner.
• Apart from this, a grant of Rs 15,000 will be given as a toolkit incentive. For digital transactions, an incentive of one rupee per transaction will be provided for up to 100 transactions in a month.

How to apply for Vishwakarma Yojana

• Visit the official portal of PM Vishwakarma Yojana pmvishwakarma.gov.in.
• Register using your mobile number and Aadhar card.
• Verify your mobile number and Aadhar card through OTP verification.
• Fill the PM Vishwakarma Yojana Registration Form with your details including name, address and business related information and submit it.
• Download PM Vishwakarma Digital ID and Certificate.
• Upload the required documents. After which the concerned department will verify your details.
• If all the details are correct, your loan will be approved.
• Under PM Vishwakarma Yojana, collateral free loan will be given with the help of commercial banks, regional rural banks and other financial institutions.
• Artists and craftsmen can also visit their nearest Common Service Centre and register and apply for the PM Vishwakarma Yojana.
