Google, new online showcases for SMEs

Google relaunches on SMEs and small local businesses and launches new solutions in view of Christmas gifts. In fact, the holidays are approaching and, according to a Google-Ipsos study conducted in Emea, 56% of people say that during this period they will prefer shopping in small local businesses. So, to help small businesses find themselves online, where people often start their search and exploration journey when they want to buy something, Google has come up with several solutions, especially useful in view of the 2021 holiday season.

One of these concerns the no-cost digital showcase ‘Google My Business’. Starting this week, owners of businesses, shops, restaurants and businesses will be able to easily claim and verify their business profile directly on Google Search or the Google Maps app. To make it easier, ‘Google My Business’ will then be renamed ‘Google Business Profile’.

In addition to the Business Profile, there are several tools and features that Google makes available: a
