Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst, Commodities at HDFC Securities, said gold fluctuated in a limited range on Tuesday as traders remained on the sidelines ahead of US employment market data. It is expected that the US employment market data may influence the Federal Reserve’s (Fed) interest rate cut. Saumil Gandhi said that during the week, traders will focus on various job reports including Jolts Job Openings, ADP Non-Agricultural Employment Change, Non-Agricultural Payrolls and Unemployment data, which may influence the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decisions. Which is likely to affect the price of gold. Prathamesh Mallya of Angel One says that gold prices are likely to remain bullish amid the possibility of interest rate cuts in the upcoming US Federal Reserve meeting.
On Tuesday, the price of silver also fell by Rs 250 to Rs 85,250 per kg. Whereas in the previous trading session it had closed at Rs 85,500 per kg.
