Goan winger Vince Barreto at the Kerala Blasters

Kerala Blasters FC has announced the inclusion of youngster Vince Barretta in the squad. The player will remain at the club until 2024 on a three-year contract. Before joining KBFC, this young winger was a Gokulam Kerala FC player. The 21-year-old Goan player started his official playing career at Dempo SC Academy. He also played for the club in the Under-18 Division. In 2017, he signed his first senior contract with the reserve team of Indian Super League team FC Goa.

He played for the club for three years. The player, who was selected to the club’s first team for the Goa Professional League in the 2018-19 season, also contributed to the crown victory. He has worn the club’s jersey 17 times in the domestic league and the I-League Second Division. Prior to joining the Blazers, Gokulam spent a season at I-League team Gokulam Kerala FC in 2020 and played 13 matches.

Vince Barreto said that he is happy to represent Kerala once again. I have always heard of Kerala Blasters FC fans and I am really excited to be a part of the team and experience it. Vince Barreto said that he hopes to grow personally and perform well for the Kerala Blasters on the field.

Kerala Blasters FC Sporting Director Carolis Skinkis said that they are happy to include young talent Vince Barreto in the team.
