The Georgian authorities rule out the transfer of ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili to Ukraine. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili to journalists, reports TASS.
“Excluded. I certify 100 percent that his [Саакашвили] no one will transfer it anywhere. First, no one demands it. In at least six years he will be able to go to any country, ”Garibashvili said, answering the question whether the authorities are going to transfer Saakashvili to Ukraine.
As the head of the Georgian government noted, the former president will have to spend all six years in prison, to which he was sentenced. “The sooner prisoner Saakashvili realizes this reality, the better for him and his team,” Garibashvili added.
